STREET DRIFTING IN YOKOHAMA

I went down to check out the drifting at the Daikoku Futo PA last Friday, but the cops had the whole area on lockdown.
We ended up going to another spot nearby in Kawasaki, which they’ve been using for a while now.

I couldn’t find the charger for my other camera so I had to film with my GoPro, which isn’t very good in such low light.

Anyway ENJOY!

SUN AND…..(BLACK) SAND

After bucketing down with rain for the last month or so,  the rainy season finally finished up last week.
The rainy season here is SHIT, unless you are a fan of constant heat, humidity and the sounds of frogs croaking in rice-fields at night.

So with the weather putting on a perfect show on the weekend we decided to go on a spur of the moment trip to the beach.
The only problem is Yamanashi is land-locked so we ended up going on a 6 hour return trip without a map to Numazu in Shizuoka.
The beach wasn’t great, the sand was black and there was all sorts of plant debris in the water….yet it was still worth the trip (it was the first time I’ve been to a beach since i moved to Japan 18 months ago)
Anyway here’s some pics
