WRECKIN’ MEET VOL.1 (1/3)

On Saturday I took the long drive up to Toyama for the inaugural Wreckin’ Meet. There was a great turn out, with quite a few well known cars turning up. It was a long drive for most people, but it didn’t stop anyone with some cars coming from as far as Hiroshima!

You’d generally expect the best cars to be from the bigger cities, but I found the most impressive cars of the day to be the local cars from Neu Flava and the Lowballers Japan chapter. I couldn’t even pic a favorite of the bunch as most of their cars are amazing.

Unfortunately because of the rain I ended up taking my pics with my iPhone (and holding my umbrella in the other hand lol). This also explains why a lot of people are camped out or sleeping in their cars hahaha. So yeah, sorry for the pic quality. The pics are just straight from my phone with a watermark slapped on.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

This 86 is from the Fuji 86 Style day, which was held at Fuji Speedway in August.

I didn’t touch it to check, but it certainly looked like skateboard grip tape vinyl wrap. I’d never seen it before, and haven’t seen it since for that matter!

A closer look

It wasn’t just the one car, I found it again on this AE86

Has anyone seen on other cars?
