While not an entrant, I loved this Suzuki Lapin that was in the parking lot at Slammed Society Japan 2012. I also spotted it in the parking lot at Hellaflush at FSW last year, but it had a CF hood. Plain rusty hoods are done to death, but I love the giraffe-like pattern this has going on in the corner (and on the back window for those paying attention)
I went down to Slammed Society at Fuji Speedway today. I just got back home now but I’m not gonna be home the next couple of days so I won’t get get the pics from today up until maybe Mon/Tues next week (Japan time).

Here’s some pics from this year’s Fuji 86 Style, which was an event for AE86s and the new Toyota 86 (or GT/FT86 or whatever you wanna call it).
I don’t really like the pics as it was pretty much a rush job while checking out the cars. There were some great cars in attendance, but to be honest I found it did get a little boring seeing so many new 86s in stock (or close to stock) form. Hopefully next year there are a few more modded cars. I broke up the pics into two posts so you don’t get slammed with too many in one hit. The rest will be up tomorrow.
This 86 is from the Fuji 86 Style day, which was held at Fuji Speedway in August.
I didn’t touch it to check, but it certainly looked like skateboard grip tape vinyl wrap. I’d never seen it before, and haven’t seen it since for that matter!
