I went down to Slammed Society at Fuji Speedway today. I just got back home now but I’m not gonna be home the next couple of days so I won’t get get the pics from today up until maybe Mon/Tues next week (Japan time).

Here’s some pics from this year’s Fuji 86 Style, which was an event for AE86s and the new Toyota 86 (or GT/FT86 or whatever you wanna call it).
I don’t really like the pics as it was pretty much a rush job while checking out the cars. There were some great cars in attendance, but to be honest I found it did get a little boring seeing so many new 86s in stock (or close to stock) form. Hopefully next year there are a few more modded cars. I broke up the pics into two posts so you don’t get slammed with too many in one hit. The rest will be up tomorrow.
This 86 is from the Fuji 86 Style day, which was held at Fuji Speedway in August.
I didn’t touch it to check, but it certainly looked like skateboard grip tape vinyl wrap. I’d never seen it before, and haven’t seen it since for that matter!

I’m mainly posting this as a reminder to myself, but also to anyone else who’s in Japan and likes this kinda stuff. The big Yokohama hot rod show, which is put together by Mooneyes is coming up in just two short months. I’ve missed this the last few years because of work or other commitments but I really hope to make it out there this year.
The lowrider in the lozzz.com banner is from a local shop (very local – it’s less than a kilometer away) and won the prize for best paint back in 2010. The painter is also from Yamanashi and runs Lifestyle Kustoms, which puts out incredible work.
