VALENTINES DAY!

Here in Japan Valentine’s Day is a little different. In Japan usually only the girls give gifts to guys they like (or to their friends).
Then on ‘White Day’ on March 14th the guys reciprocate by giving gifts/chocolates in return. So somehow Japan has managed to squeeze two money making consumerism holidays out of the one!

This is the one day of the year that teaching at an all girls high school and Jr high school pays off.

I cleaned up today bay-bee!!

BYE-BYE PANDA!!

This post is a little late as I’ve been so lazy with my updates, but I finally sold my car a couple of weeks ago.
Yep my lil baby, my panda B18C CRX is finally gone!!
I didn’t really want to sell it, but I don’t see us moving back to Australia anytime soon and it would be stupid to let keep sitting in my driveway.
I’d rather see someone put the time and love into it that I can’t provide at the moment.

Anyway here are my last two photos of it, a photo from Google maps, and an Instagram pic of it being towed away by the new owner hahaha

LUNCH AT KIYOSATO

I’ve been pretty lazy recently with the updates. I haven’t been taking many pics with my camera but I have a heap of pics on my iPhone so I’ll try to start getting some up .

Here’s a few Hipstamatic/Instagram sort of pics I took while we had lunch in Kiyosato, Yamanashi a while back.

We stayed at an onsen in Isawa that night. Here’s the sunset, once again over the Minami Alps.

I may as well post these too. Normal shots of the mountians, from both Isawa and Kiyosato.
